This is the cast of characters of this silly little thing called Laughing Stroke. Get to know these buffoons:
Jack Kammrin - The main character. He's your typical heroic male lead, with some frustration issues added. He wears a purple athletics suit and lives in a beachside, and until recently, barely had any contact with the outside world. Of course that has changed considerably. His special technique is his "Coconut Punch", simply he jumps high in the air and falls down punching off anything he targets. He must have other attacks he has that are actually more useful in combat...
Windy Breaker - A redheaded girl who ran into Jack and blamed him for it. But after some more run-ins, she eventually became Jack's first real friend and sparring partner, and naturally she has similar viewpoints as Jack, but is a bit more open on other things. Her special technique is a really hard shin kick to the thigh, and yes, it hurts...
Shoichi - Originally Shochi and Ochiru Joshoyama, he is the clowniest of the clowns here in this comic. His mouth is as big as his ego, mainly due to the fact that his father was a famous actor who died at a chinese diner but was covered up as an on-set stunt, which frustrates Shoichi to a degree. Is also close friends with Abigail, the aristocratic cat-girl with anxiety issues, since they peformed in different circus troupes long ago. Shoichi's special techniques are simply being a douche and failure to sustain victory reardless of his efforts. When not driving people crazy, he drives his "car"...
Rio - A big, fearful-looking man that has been known as "The Golden Wildcat" because of his appearance: he looks like a big cat who can walk on his hind legs, and has golden hair all over his body. Whether he is a cat or a man is still a matter of debate. He does make a horrific roaring call to stun opponents and leave them open. Usually quiet and timid, not to mention lazy, he spends most of his time laying next to a window or sitting in one spot, sleeping. I suggest you don't poke him with a stick or attack him while he's dozing off, all right? I'm serious.
Beta - That red-haired (more red than Windy's hair), yellow-suited, sunglasses-wearing android who constantly glitches, malfunctions, and explodes at random all the time. Originally made as a way for robots to adapt to human life and an intelligince character, he is so broken, his only role in this comic is a recurring gag. Give or take a really big doorstop.
Neona Light - A foreign girl with 2 hair colors and a chest that gets in the way. Ditzy, but lightning-fast when fighting. She admires Jack so much that she even dawns his outfit, albeit in pink and green, and tattered due to constant training. Has dated Samson in the past, but for the wrong reasons on his part. Despite her setbacks, Neona is a kind-hearted person with no sense of direction.
Beau Walker - Villager with a long metal rod used for combat and travel. Works with his best friend Vinnie Garoon in investigating unusual sights of negativity. Is the real brains of the cast, though he tends to pause when speaking. Pretty down-to-earth and relaxed.
Vinnie Garoon - An orange-and-black-clad ninja working as an investigator alongside his best friend Beau. Though a nina, his wife Annie and son Billy are normal, typical Americans. (Strange, yes.) Pours vinegar on himself when he feels angered and attacks perpretraters. His little brother, Kelvin, looks up to him, though also a ninja.
Kelvin - Vinnie Garoon's little brother from out-of-town, a real cool skateboarder ninja with a lot of street cred. Lazier then Rio, and his natural coolness makes his older brother Vinnie want to whip out the vinegar. Saw aliens in fear in his town and told the others about it. Likes classical music, junk food and pretty girls.
Abigail - Aristocratic anti-heroine who once teamed up with Viktis and Samson while in the Hyper-Stryker tournament. Has a close (yet secret) bond with Shoichi and goes to school with him. (they traveled in competing circus troupes in the past) She wears a long, wavy, white wig with cat ears on it, as well as a matching tail attachment and makeup, to look like a cat-girl so that she can at least stop getting picked on, though this has never helped once. Constantly anal-retentive and would rather be alone most of the time. Is flat-chested, but does not want that pointed out to her. Hates going on boats and water trips.
Viktis Ghahn - the ancient ruler of the world from 500 years ago, but was dethroned after being kicked into the icy waters of a frozen continent. He has resurfaced from that water due to global warming and wants to rule the world again, only to be looked as a senile old lunatic or a homeless bum working on an acting career. After trying to sabotage the Hyper-Stryker arena and losing to Jack, thinking he was a later descendent of Viktis's enemy who kicked him in the ice in his time, he was abducted by aliens and eventually returned, devestated.
Francis Duflare - The creepy old man from Vinnie Garroon's neigborhood. Is rumored to be the leader of a balogna-soldier empire, made up by the Manzye Brothers. Lectured to defeat by Jack and the others in his attempt to fight the strongest man in the World, and failing. Likes balogna and other filler meats and weilds a hammer from a balogna loaf. Prefers to tie down his victims and tortures them in the most rediculous ways.
Samson - A big, spikey haired muscle man who dated Neona for all the wrong reasons. He worked alongside Viktis Ghahn and Abigial at the Hyper-Stryker tournament, but somehow disappeared while fighting Neona in the flooding hallways.
Dammich and Yuutu Manzye - dumbass twin brothers dawning sentai-fighter Haloween costumes. Kidnapped Windy early on, but after a while, they weren't as important...
