What is this comic?

The above description is the basic overview of what this is about. If you want a more detailed version, here it is.

This webcomic series is (mainly) about Jack Kammrin, a teenage boy who wears a purple tracksuit and has excellent fighting potential, even in the most unorthodox training routine, by a sensei (martial arts instructor) whom we don't see. But ever since he meets his first actual friend Windy Breaker after a freak run-in and a huge misunderstanding, they decide to stay and train together, and eventually Jack makes more friends enemies along the way, goes to places to meet said friends and foes, and deal with the misfortunes with the surreal nuances of the world in the most hysterical manner.

Though the story arcs differ in various situations from fighting mobs and creeps to cake decorating contests (maybe), this is the basic idea of what Laughing Stroke is: a sort of "funny fighter sitcom", like if Dragon Ball meets Monty Python with a bit of The Naked Gun or Scary Movie series added for flavor.

In the development history side of things, this all started when I was still on my high school days, presumably in around 2001. I did a character in a tracksuit but he posessed darker hair and the tracksuit was inspired by an older similar-looking suit I used to wear constantly until I grew out of it and started wearing real clothes. (I'm kidding, it was real clothes). Then after some intense anime watching during the original days of Toonami at the time, I tweaked my existing characters constantly, even went far as to rename them. Jack had white hair and was parted to the side, Windy's hair was pink and somewhat squared and angular, and Rio was originally a family dog we had, then he was a bull terrior with a cat companion, Beta was much more useful, etc. Even the comic's title was changed during this time. Though Hyper-stryker was the first title publically seen, it wasn't the first I came up with. Eventually, I decided on Laughing Stroke, a play on words that this was meant to be a fighting game/manga parody. You might want to look at the last parograph for more on that one.

That's basically it. if you like what you see, give me some feedback in the "Contact Me" page!
